Here we are, in the final month of the year and decade. I am grateful for all of the growth and new experiences 2019 has brought us. I’d like to give a special thanks to those of you who have been following my monthly lifestyle themes since February. The end of the year is the perfect time to evaluate what’s working in your life and what’s no longer serving you. Whether it’s bad habits, or old things in your living space, it’s time to detox and do some vital winter cleaning, as we get ready for the new year. This month is also a great time to set some goals for 2020.
Looking to end the year on a positive note? You can join this month’s challenge:
- Have a daily cup of tea to help detox the body. I recommend green tea or detox teas that contain dandelion (which is great for the liver) or ginger.
- Get rid of at least three items. Assess your belongings and ditch what you don’t need to take into the next decade. This will be easy, as the holidays are a great time to donate to charities or individuals in need.
- Determine one toxic habit in 2019 you’re leaving in 2019. Write it down, and commit to shedding it. Your future self will thank you.
