This summer’s trends aren’t as trendy, and I actually love it. I don’t even know if I should refer to them as trends, because they have all become wardrobe staples over the past year for me. I love that more and more retailers are catering to gals in their thirties who want to be stylish, without being overly trendy. Hey ya’ll! You’ll see me rocking these three trends a lot this season!
Pretty Paisley
Paisley prints never quite go away, but in my opinion, they are rarely done well in women’s fashion. Lately, the print has made its return, and the print becomes a bit more refined when mixed with other patterns. (Top: Zara)
Comfy Co-Ords
I love a good two-piece set. Missguided is my favorite place to shop for my co-ords, like this bright orange set that I recently wore to go wine tasting. I’ve purchased three two-piece sets from their website and they have all been true to size.
Flirty Flutter Sleeves
Flutter sleeve tops have been my latest go-to for work, brunch, or the occasional coffee date. You can’t go wrong. This style is casual, without being boring. It just shows that you tried, without actually trying. (Top: Another Zara special!)
