Looks: Ladies, It’s Okay To Shop The Men’s Section

Have you ever put on a cute dress in the fall, and quickly realize that you’d rather be chilling in a oversized sweater? Be honest. Sometimes, you want to be fancy without overdressing or freezing your boobs off. The good news is, there is a remedy to this, and you won’t always find it in the women’s section.

Pairing an oversized shirt over a mini dress has recently become one of my favorite closet hacks.

But beware, even some women’s clothes that are marketed as oversized, aren’t always that. Such garments were designed with the female physique in mind. Sometimes, you’re better off shopping the men’s section.

This look features a distressed men’s denim overshirt from Zara– which has a great fall selection right now.

Occasion: My semi-annual Joshua Tree National Park Photoshoot

Style Tip: Pair an oversized men’s shirt with any of the below for fall.

  • Skinny jeans + v-neck tee
  • Leather leggings + a tank (add a belt over the shirt to accentuate your waist)
  • Mini skirt + a graphic tee

The hat and boots were fun additions to this look!

A satin dress alone is super flirty and great for a date on a warm day, but I love to add layers to it in the fall. I hope this outfit can inspire your next look!
