The FENTY Beauty launch at Sephora went down in history as one of the biggest global beauty launches. People lined up at Sephora on the morning of September 8 to be among the first to witness the carefully curated products. What impresses me most about FENTY Beauty is Rihanna’s level of involvement in creating the perfect formulas that women of all skin tones can embrace. Come on, with a pioneering 40-shade foundation range, killer highlighters, and versatile ‘Match Stix,’ what’s not to love? To describe the new line in three words: inclusive, innovative, stylish.

Here are my two favorite products.

Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter Duo in ‘Ginger Binge/Moscow Mule’

Let me tell you: this freestyle highlighter is to die for, and it’s one of the most versatile products in the line. Just like the Match Stix Shimmer Skinstick, you can use Killawatt as a highlighter and an eye shadow. It allows you to get creative; dust it over your lips and shine on. The formula is comfortable and long-wearing. I blended the two shades and applied them on my cheekbone and around my eye in a V shape. Then, I skated on Venice Beach for about a hour. I broke a sweat, and when I got back to my car, I noticed that the formula had not caked on my skin. Instead, I had an even sicker glow. Afterwards, I went home and took a nap without removing my makeup, and when I woke up, this selfie happened.

Killawatt is faint in this photo, but its aftermath leaves such a beautiful, natural finish that I won’t mind falling asleep with it on again. The other FENTY Beauty product that I’m swooning over:

Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer

My lips have never felt so kissable. I think that NARS Lip Gloss in ‘Orgasm’ has finally been dethroned as the perfect everyday lip gloss. Gloss Bomb is THE bomb. It’s especially gorgeous on us medium toned girls who want the perfect, moisturized pout. Just like Ri Ri herself, I’d rock this gloss anytime, anywhere. It compliments both a full face and the ‘no makeup, makeup’ look.
