Light Dancing + Denim

Here goes it: my first street style post of 2017. I’ll have you know that I am making a conscious effort to showcase my personal style (post coming soon on how to define one’s style) this year. After all, there are so many ways to sport denim and lipstick. Despite having to work at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning, I decided to go out for some ‘Double D’ (drinks and dancing) Friday night. It had been a while since I had actually made an effort to look like a glamorous, borderline unapproachable human.

I typically wear something casual that allows free movement, because, when I dance, I can get a little crazy, and even downright embarrassing. However, my chosen look proved to be perfect for the night’s festivities, which involved overpriced drinks at a rooftop bar and light dancing at a grungy basement bar in Hollywood.
