Your lipstick can either be a seductive conversation starter or an all-out ‘man repeller.’ If you’re anything like me, you prefer the latter when you’re going out for a casual day of shopping. No cat-calls please! If you’ve been wanting to rock the dark lip trend, but tend to shy away from black lipstick, I’ve got the perfect glam, yet badass lip look for you!
I created this lip look for a day of thrifting (more details to come). You’ll need a charcoal lip liner. I recommend MAC Technakohl Liner in ‘Greyprint’ (because it is perfectly fine to use an eye liner as a lip liner). Prime with a light lip balm, then apply the liner. Follow with a frosty taupe or gray lipstick, and finish with a gunmetal colored luminizer (or metallic eye shadow). Trust me, if your lip color resembles a gun barrel, you’ll be sure to knock ’em dead.
